Sunglasses for Surfboarding - A surfers most essential gear is their sunglasses

Lit eyewear – Wood Sunglasses

At a young age I sunburned my eyes while surfboarding. Unfortunately sunburning the eyes causes permanent damage. The doctor urged me to wear sunglasses at all times while outside for the rest of my life. I immediately was concerned about how I was going to go surfboarding if I need eye protection. So, I wanted to solve this problem by creating a pair of sunglasses for surfboarding. I feel protecting your eyes from the sun is essential while surfboarding. Its a problem that nobody has really been able to solve. I created my brand Lit Eyewear and designed sunglasses that float. This way if a surfboarder lost his or her pair of sunglasses it would be easy for him or her to retrieve them back. I also thought it would be awesome if I could get them made out of real wood instead of plastic or metal. This way they are not only different but they would be sustainable and trendy. So with some research I was able to find that bamboo which is very sustainable, had the durability and properties to be shaped into beautiful sunglasses that float for surfers around the world. I hope nobody sunburns their eyes like I did. At times it gives me discomfort and it has permanent redness. My sunglasses all come with UV400 lens for best protection and with polarized lens in order to reduce the glare from the sun. The suns glare reflects on the water like a mirror. So when you look at the water you are actually looking straight at the sun. All my sunglasses are all one size fits all. How? The legs are designed with spring hinges so that the legs will flex to any size head. I encourage everyone to protect their eyes from the sun at all times especially while surfboarding. A surfers most essential gear is sunglasses.
